Diary of a Wimpy Kid

Jeff Kinley

This book is about a boy who's mom gives him a diary one day. This book is in a journal form. It is a very funny and easy to read. It doesn't have an adventure but it makes up for it with comedy. It's a book you can reread and it still makes you laugh. I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to laugh.-JB

Diary of a Wimpy Kid 2

Jeff Kinley

This is a continued story of the first Diary of a Wimpy Kid. Greg's mom gives him another diary again this year. This book has more funny adventures and stupid , but funny, comments. I would recommend this book to the same kind of kid, who's in the same kind of mood.-JB

Greg's mom gives him another journal again this but this time I think he enjoys having it. This book has the same humor and same characters ,but this one is definitely the best of the series. There are better pranks, funnier jokes and just all around good book.-JB

The Science Fair
The Science Fair by Dave Barry is a great book about a boy named Toby who must save the U.S. from a threat from Krpshtskan, a fourth world country. At the start of the book Toby sells one of his parent's Star Wars stage props to a guy dressed like Darth Vader who then claims it is a fake and demands his money back. Toby had already spent the money so he knows the only thing he can do is win the science fair at his school and the $25,000 that comes with winning it in order to pay Darth Vader back. At the same time Krpshtskan is using the same science fair to destroy the U.S. Soon Toby gets caught up in the Krpshtskan plot and is forced to stop it. The only help he has is from two friends, a technology whiz, and two agents from Krpshtskan.

This is a laugh-out-loud book for ages 10-13, and I highly recommend it to anyone who likes humor. star.gifstar.gifstar.gifstar.gifstar.gifJCH
